I cannot say highly enough what a great decision that was! Pam is personable, knowledgeable, and professional. And, I am fairly certain she would have gone in and made chocolate chip cookies to go along with her iced refreshments if I would have asked. **⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐** Pam Stukenborg is a true expert in headshot photography, and it shows. I sat down with her to talk about her business and came away genuinely impressed by her depth of knowledge. She trained under Peter Hurley (the top headshot photographer in the world), and it's clear that expertise translates into her work. What stood out most: Pam doesn't just take pictures; she reads micro-expressions in real time by shooting tethered to a laptop, catching subtle details like a slight lift at the corner of the mouth or a spark in the eyes that make the difference between a good shot and a great one. She also has a gift for putting clients at ease, keeping conversation flowing about anything *but* the camera so your natural expressions come through instead of a forced smile. She's thoughtful about the whole experience too, from wardrobe advice (bring multiple options, no extra charge) to conference logistics (advance notice and proper placement make a huge difference in how comfortable people feel getting their photo taken). Before I found Pam, in a pinch, I tried the "AI Generated" headshot with immediate regret. Nothing replaces actual TALENT. Pam is fun, professional and knows exactly what she's doing. I began my photoshoot with knees shaking and definitely not feeling photogenic. Within 20 minutes Pam was showing me the best photos I've ever taken, and they weren't even edited yet.
